How we built a new website with a clear focus on accessibility for the merger of the three existing Leeds Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) to become NHS Leeds CCG.
We broke new ground in producing this excellent website; taking an NHS Trust for the very first time into the world of responsive web design to embrace the increase in mobile and tablet use among the site’s users. Extensive user research allowed us to create a model of usability from highly complex content requirements.
The website and membership management system we created for the association had to replace an existing set-up which had become old and cumbersome. We produced detailed user profiles of all the user groups to ensure that the site would meet the needs of diverse audiences as much as possible as well as being engaging to visit.
We created a new website and a bespoke membership database for this organisation. Built as a responsive design – working perfectly on every device – the site was designed and built around being able to fulfil many tasks, including helping to increase membership of the association; allowing members to share information; and providing help to information-seeking parents and the media.
